I highly recommend this challenge to anyone who is wanting to challenge themselves in any part of their fitness journey. If are wanting to build muscle, shed kgs of the waist line or just test your mental and physical health then this challenge is definitely worth giving a go. I did it for a few reasons I wanted to see where my body was at after two knee surgeries, I wanted to lose weight / build muscles and I wanted to show my daughters that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. The fact that the program was able to be done at home as well made it even more fun for me as my daughters would get involved and they would look forward to daddy’s workouts every day. My 3 year old would push me and ask as soon as she woke up if it was time for daddy’s workout. This was my first JTM Fit Challenge, the Shred Challenge, and I loved it! I have been at a plateau for the last year or so after having my 4th baby (as I write this I am 18 months postpartum). I was just going through the motions with my workouts and diet. I have been following your account for some time and have always been inspired and impressed by the workouts and movements you demonstrate. I decided to commit to this challenge and give it my all, and I’m so glad I did. I finally broke through a plateau on the scale but also leaned out more and lost inches (finally!). Got back into a favorite pair of jeans even that I haven’t worn for over 2 years! Before this challenge I was strength training 6 days a week, an hour a day, using machines often. Typically would try and lift heavy and keep pushing myself constantly. Yet I didn’t feel like I was getting the results I was wanting despite all my effort. That’s why I loved this challenge is that I didn’t even need any of the machines, it was primarily just my body, a jump rope occasionally, and dumbbells. I also loved incorporating the cardio/mobility/core days to let my body recover some which I was lacking before. It’s easy to think you need a big gym or fancy equipment. While I do still enjoy those things, what I learned and experienced with this Shred Challenge is you really need a proven program specified to your goals and then execute that program. Stay consistent and focused. Challenge yourself. That’s what I did with this Shred Challenge, I saw results and had fun doing it. On to the next JTM Fit program, thank you!!

Just finished The Functional Shred and absolutely loved it. My key takeaways were that it brought some much needed intensity back into my workouts, got me focusing on form more than I had been, and got me into the habit of doing proper warmups and cool downs, which no doubt is the reason I remained injury free for the last 8 weeks. Managed to shed some body fat but still maintain my starting weight of 173 Ibs. Maybe onto TFM 1.0...

Because the gym's are closed again in Montreal I can't finish Functional Mass and Power but I wanted to share my results after 2 months. My weight stayed the same but my body fat went from 17.6% to 13.5% at 230 pounds. I've never been able to get under 17% until doing this program. Can't wait to finish!

Had a moment of self appreciation and wanted to share with you. August 2020 had foot surgery (right) then November 2020 (left).... Had a set back and gained some weight...20lbs to be exact.
